Secondly, be sure that no one has altered the settings. This is a common mistake. You should be able to reset settings to the factory default. Also, when a memory card is full, the camera may not turn on (this only applies to some digital cameras).
If your camera is really broken, contact the manufacturer. Maybe your camera has some sort of warranty. If not, find out how much repair and shipping will cost. Sometimes companies will repair it for free, but this is not extremely common. It is always good to get warranty when you purchase a camera, because you never know what is going to happen. All in all, if your camera is really broken and you cannot get it fixed for free, you are better off just buying a new camera. Be careful and take care of your digital cameras!
